• Playing & Conducting Courses led by World-class tutors
  • The Musicians Course is designed to accommodate all standards and experience, improve your sight-reading and overall musicianship as a player in our masterclasses, ensembles and full band sessions with taster lessons from our instrumental tutors. Massed Band including all delegates for Gala Concert finale. 6 Days – arrive Sunday 26th July from 12pm and depart after Breakfast on Saturday 1st August.
  • The Conducting Course, led by Dr Frankl Renton, will benefit those who aspire to be a conductor and those that need a boost to their capabilities. The Course will not concentrate solely on the physical aspects of conducting, but on leadership, musical understanding, getting the maximum from the score and creating an ethos of commitment and a desire to progress in ensembles.  4.5 Days – arrive Sunday 26th July from 12pm and depart Thursday 30th July at lunchtime, with option to stay until Saturday and join Massed Bands as a player – (*additional cost applies)
• Solo/Ensemble Performances & Geneva Quartet competition
  • Perform a solo to an audience, with a piano accompaniment
  • Perform as an instrumental group
  • Take part in IBBSS ‘Brass in Concert’
  • Take part in the ‘blind quartet’ competition 
• Gala Concert in The Great Hall – Friday 31st July @ 7pm
• Evening Socials
  • It wouldn’t be a Summer School, without a social! With a bar, fun performances and quizzes, there’s lots to enjoy! 
  • New for ’26 – Gala Dinner. Dress up and attend our ‘awards dinner’.
• Leisure Time by the Beach
  • Plenty of down time to relax and enjoy the Sun!
